The Integral
The use of first class materials gives the Kelvin 4 a long life with maximum efficiency. The frame construction of the collector is of pine wood. Full integration of the seals in the aluminum cover section, full UV protection and an extremely long life.By using vacuum-coated absorber materials the absorption degree can be achieved by >95%. This compares with an unprecedented low emissivity of only 5% (loss factor of the absorber at 100°C absorber temperature).
